Meet the Owner

Food has always been a major part of Jennifer Rush's life. After graduating UCLA, she worked for a retail company in New York opening stores throughout the country. Working in the corporate world for 5 years, she then decided to combine her retail experience and love of food to create the Divine Pasta Company in 1992 which grew into a thriving wholesale and retail company. After selling her share in 1999, she started building the Blue Plate restaurant brand. Currently Blue Plate has three restaurants in three concepts: Blue Plate Montana, Blue Plate Oysterette and Blue Plate Taco.
